Now in its 12th year, the annual Rob Hamilton Memorial Golf Tournament took place on Friday, October 6th and attracted droves of excited golfers eager to let their clubs swing while donating to a worthy cause.

Since its inception, charitable donations have exceeded $335,000 benefiting the Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

According to Streetmarc, an event sponsor, the impact is felt very deeply. Chris Marcocci, President of Streetmarc states, “This event was started by the family of Rob Hamilton, my brother-in-law, after Rob’s passing in 2005. The event is very dear to my heart, and is a testament to turning tragedy into something good. We can’t change what happened to Rob, however we have made a difference impacting the community and learning more about the disease that took Rob’s life - Cardiac Sarcoidosis. I would like to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and attendees who make this event possible.”
